This was all predicted by the more enlightened members of the board months ago. Barry had to bat 1000. the rest of the way. Right now hes batting 100. His far left bs alienated all the republicans that didnt vote for him anyway and the 60% of independents that voted for him ( and gave him the whitehouse). Now he looks like a fraud to his far left base and moderate democrats are running for cover to try and distance themselves. Add in the fact that the economy is still a disaster and you have the perfect storm.

One term for Barry and a republican dominated Congress come next election. You heard it here first.

The problem is that he made so many promises to so many people who really believed him that this was bound for disaster. 

These people donated time, money, blood sweat and tears that they are expecting a return for their efforts.  However, those are not the people who elected Obama, the moderates did. 

Obama has alienated the far left and far right.  Those in the middle are still confused at just WTF is going on and wonder why he is not focusing on jobs jobs jobs instead of health care, cap & trade, etc.

fellas, I really don't think it's about broken promises.  We're realistic and know there's not a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  It's really more about him totally ignoring the people who voted him in and just being another president who takes orders from big business.  We should just get the shit over and elect a board of CEOs to the whitehouse.   What I'm saying is this is the spoiling factor for us.  If we thought he was actually fighting for the things he promised, that's good enough.  I really have very little faith at this point that this is the case.

the thread is about why his poll numbers will take a jump down now.  His voiced views are not out of step with the dems/liberals.  His actions are!  He already lost a good portion of the middle.  If you see his poll number take a big plung in the next week, I'm saying that's people bailing from the left.  It's a very valid observation.

He has also lost independents and conservatives who voted for him.  We'll see if there is a downward plunge, but his poll numbers have been on a steady decline for weeks.

I'm talking about an obvious dip, not steady decline.  I think the steady decline has been the loss of independents and republicans and probably some democrats.  I'm execting he's now going to be taking a hit approval wise with the base.  we'll see.  Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so.  If I'm wrong, it'll be by the hands of distraction.
