If he was dumb enough to give his one time Ex a credit card, he pretty much deserves what he got. Stupid move on his part. She took full advantage of him and now he's stuck with 4k in debt because he was a chump.
I bet she even batted her eyes at him when he was the one to offer the line of credit in the first place....

Do you think he learned anything?

Nope, he's probably courting some other ex of his hoping for a second chance at love, and he'll be burned again shortly.

How old are you?

I've never heard anyone use the word "courting" except my grandmother.  ;D

I'm old enough to know what your initials stand for! :P I'm older than thirty, younger than 35. ;D Like in life, you should never rule out anything and vocabulary is no different. I just happened to choose "courting" instead of "stalking," or "hiding in the bushes...."

I have a friend. He got back with his ex wife because he thought that there was a second chance at love.

Even though he wasnt married to her anymore and should not be financially obligated to help her, he did. Her got her a credit card in her name and made her an authorized user.

My friend is in the military and was deployed. He found out his ex wife was cheating on him and he told her he found out....

She charged his card $4000.00 and put a restraining order on him while he was deployed possibly because she didnt want confrontation with him and the man she is cheating on him with and also for the fear he may take her to small claims court.

Can my friend take his ex wife to small claims court to recoup the $4000.00?

Run for hillz bro because i'm pretty sure your "friend" is dating my EX!!!!
