Rubbish. You can have the Antichrist himself on stage in a contest and no one outside of the few who follow bodybuilding to the extent of watching contests would care. The handful of bodybuilding mags always hype the shit out of every bodybuilder, supplement, contest and what have you, but it doesn't make any major difference.
2002 was a lucky year for Ronnie - he almost lost the Olympia, where he looked like garbage compared to his peak form and he lost the SOS fair and square. He was lucky he placed above Chris Cormier. Sorry Hulkster, but such is the way things are.
