Government option healthcare isn't 'socialism' but hey enjoy paying the billionaires and keep scratching at your pittance because when it comes time for help they will cut you loose to get their bonus cheque for denial of service.  333 for Wealthcare!

The only downside is that they are too stupid to realize
that they are being made fun of. I can't believe what a huge percentage of "conservatives" are completely blind to satire and irony.
This reminds me of the study which concluded that many conservatives see Stephen Colbert as one of them and not a progressive that is making fun of them. There is seriously something wrong in these people's brains.

What I find funny is there are some many people in this country that don't even understand what the constitution is and how it limits the power of federal government. That a pro choice people freak the fuck out over any abortion bill, its their body, but are willing to turn over their rest of their body to the government under the guise of universal healthcare

"428 % increase in profit"  -  quoted from the video

How many times are you Liberals going to tell this lie ?

Here is the truth :

United HealthCare ( the largest Health insurance company  )

Their profits have gone down for the last few years

take a look:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=UNH&annual

Balance Sheet
 All numbers in thousands

Operating Income or Loss

Dec 31 2006            6,984,000

Dec 31 2007           7,849,000

Dec 31 2008            5,263,000

or how about Aetna ?  (the 2nd largest health Insurance company )

Profits for the last few years:

Net Income

All numbers in thousands

31-Dec-06    1,701,700

31-Dec-07     1,831,000

31-Dec-08     1,384,100

Also, I wonder if those actors in the video,  were paid as much per hour as the union thugs, and the accorn members were paid ?

Go read these two books and get back to me.  Until then, you would do yourself a huge favor by ceasing all posting on this forum as the igrorance you display is astonishing.

Uh, Single Payer is MUCH MUCH MUCH more economically sound and fiscally responsible and actually produces a massive savings over the current healthcare system we have now.

I am not defending the current mess we have, but I think health care needs to be decoupled from employment to start.  That alone will drive costs down.

Second, we need to promote health living and a more active society.  I'm not talking about a fat tax, but we need to really do a lot more to encourage healthier living.

I am not in favor of a govt run health system.  I dont think it is fair for people who go to medical school to incur such indebedtness to basically be public employees for a average or slightly better than average wage.  That just is completely immoral in my eyes.

OMG !! - Union Health care only made 5.2 billion dollars last year.

Why isn't this all over the news.   How am I going to get to sleep tonight?

How much of that 5.2 billion came from denying health care to their policy holders?

Hey, got a suggestion: How about working... for free?!

That'll drive the costs down for the entrepreneur.

Im not suggesting people work for free.  My point was that health costs come out of wages and individuals should be able to ttake the money as tax free income and go buy their own health insurance policies on their own if they so choose, not what their employer picks for them.
