edit: mike arvilla trained legs for 20 years and look at them. would him squatting more or not at all change his legs ?
Serious answer - how good you are at squats and how much you get out of them varies from person to person. You'll find a lot of people who don't get much out of squats even though they do the same with textbook form. On the other hand, there are also a lot of people who don't squat or squat heavy, but still have amazing legs.
So you don't have to do squats for legs, but you should definitely incorporate leg training into your workouts, cause as you get stronger in the legs, you get stronger overall and it's good to be balanced. Just try other stuff - sure you'll find a few things that will work for you.
