Wow, I sure feel naive at this point for always trying to see the goodness in people. This is the second time Angel Saucier formally Rutter, from Setn-stone suits who is based in Oregon has failed to deliver....LITERALLY! Last summer I was getting ready for a show and at a week out I had not recieved anything. No worries...right? Im sure it will be coming anyday now. Well the day of my show came and I still had not recieved anything. I had to basically run out to a craft store and buy some rhinestones and throw together an outfit!! (Talk about stressed)!! She said that her assistant had gotten into a car accident and thats why my stuff was never mailed out. So when somebody tells you that, you ofcourse express compassion and forget about the whole mess.
Well round 2 comes along. I inform her about a year out that I am getting ready for my pro debut (pretty important right)...and as the months pass along I make sure to keep in contact with her and make sure that everything is going as planned. Well...a week before my show, I still had not recieved anything. I call her to ask her about my suit and costume but she does not answer but texts right away: "Everything is fine"!! Well the day before the show, I have recieved nothing and she is no longer responding!!! Even at this point when most people would realize they've been screwed....I am actually concerned that maybe something happened to her! Good thing I pulled out of that show bc I would of had nothing...no suit or costume.
I just didnt think people would actually do that someone...especially if they are trying to make a business for themselves. The industry of suit making is totally based on referrals! Finally a few days later, I notice she's been active on facebook. She's alive after all and hasnt skipped a beat. Her lasted posting was about her excitement for the new season premier of "Project Runway"....can you believe that? Maybe she should spend less time watching tv and actually making people's suit!
