No solution, other than letting them be.
A lot of the people here, myself included, have obsessive compulsive disorder in varying degrees and forms. In one way, you need to have that condition to become a bodybuilder, cause it's all about living the lifestyle 24/7 while being obsessed about your growth, time in the gym, Getbig etc (to give an example).
People spend tremendous amounts of time and energy on their hobbies just for the pleasure they get out of it, so just like some people talk endlessly about Lost or play WoW or whatever, others endlessly argue about topics such as the ones you've mentioned before. It's the same in a lot of forums - people who discuss the same topics endlessly or come up with the same pattern of posting constitute a small but always present part of the population as dictated by the standard bell shaped distribution.
