Arnold was not a good person back then. A big manipulator and he did also a lot of bad things for bbing.

Yes but these are all things to ponder when considering the best of all time

I mean his physique is still no slouch to this day , incomplete? sure but if he were born in 1970 imagine where he would be now?

Dex has a very washed up/oily appearance compared to some of the greats from the past... yes his conditioning is prominint in some shots..like the MM, or the ab/thigh...but overall his physique has a weird off-putting quality to it... compared to someone like a ray...he lacks density...he is big, but he doesn't look chiseled...

Also...I think that BBers should have calves...but thats just me.

No where, maybe not even a bodybuilder. Weider help a lot arnold because anorld was in the best moment for bbing and not so much contestant.

I can say Dexter will be one final 3 if not the last two guys standing at the Olympia. When you get down to lb for lb size, hardness, and symmetry only a few can hang with Dexter. I'll go as far to call him a "2X" Mr. O because he beat Ronnie and Jay IMO in 2004. With exception to maybe Phil everyone in the show has been "off" in a show but we all know Dexter is NEVER off.

At his peak he was balanced from head to toe, still has better structure, frame, muscle tie ins and bodyparts that not only hold up but look every bit as big and if not bigger than a large portion of pro's today.
who cares he didnt have the shredded glutes, the arse should never have been uncovered! and sliced hamstrings, so what, he was conditioned everywhere else. Ronnie always had sliced hamstrings and glutes but often looked glossy, smooth and bloated from the front.
Arnold was also one of the first to have ripped xmas tree lower back development most struggle to bring nowadays

You're not seeing it becasue you don't want to. DEXTER is a smaller version of Ronnie and definitley holds his own on stage. He was the right choice for Mr Olympia like it or not.

Weider caused that some years, the prime example being the late 70s, early 80s when many of the top BBs left or retired thanks to the hijinks thus you had less compelling winners like Zane, Dickerson, Columbu, Samir filling in. No one will remember that era as exciting as a result, and it was entirely Weider's doing in playing it so wrong that most of the best BBs then said to hell with him and didn't show up.

Schwarzenegger and Oliva still trump all previous winners save for Coleman. Pretty obvious actually.

yeah instead he looks balanced,complete & chipped out of granite.Dex is one of the only BB'er who (IMO) can attain the level of hardness that Dorian could. He's so balanced that nothing stands out. I'd rather have that look ANY day of the week.

No...IMHO I had HEath winning the "O" last year... I wanted Wolf to win it...and I think he could have if he had brought his best...but he was off that night.

Heath on the other hand was crisper then Dex...and bigger... I would have had it 1. Heath 2. Dex 3. Wolf 4.The Fridge

I am not a big fan of Dex but when he's on, he looks sharp!!!!! And last yrs Olympia was his for the taking. Its just hard for me to call him Mr. Olympia.

the year he took second to Dillett at the NOC...he looked fantastic
streamlined, detailed...he should have won easily...it was a colossal rip-off

now, I don't see him as impressive....just kind of 'blah'
