I've never seen a woman in a burqa AND high heels. I would say about 60-70 percent of them wear burqas, but never with high heels. It's not against the law, but I have no idea how the men would react.
I don't talk politics with other soldiers that often and I haven't discussed the timing of a possible surge. I'm not sure more guys would help UNLESS we are allowed to change the Rules of Engagement. I think we have to become more ruthless or get out. Right now we're just waiting around getting picked off, which is really an unforgivable position to put soldiers in.
Do you know what the chances are that the Rules of Engagement would change? |

Never going to happen. They've already killed a few hundred of us under them. No one seems to care too much. The press goes nuts when we kill civilians. The Taliban does it so often nobody seems to notice anymore. He who is more ruthless will win. If we don't have the stomach for that, we shouldn't have even started. |

To true you have to "fight to win" Terrorist organisations and rouge nations rely on the fact that other nations must "play by the rules" when they dont. In fact they get very upset when nations like Israel often play by the same rules as them. Siri lanka recently showed how, they kept the press out of the war zone and went after the Tamil Tigers, they fought to win and they won. |
