regardless of which year was his best one thing is clear from those pics posted - no one has come remotely close to having a physique like his before, during or after his time.

2001, but if you saw Ronnie in person in 03, he was amazing. I was lucky to see him prep for that olympia.

Thing with 2004 is that Ronnie was super dry and shredded in the press conference the day before the show, but spilled over and was holding a film of water during the prejudging and finals later on. But his vascularity and separation gave the illusion that he was conditioned (or "saved" his look), whereas someone like Jay Cutler having a similar layer of water under the skin would look totally bloated and out of shape.

Off the top of my head,

1998 - 249 lb
1999 - 257 lb
2000 - 262 lb
2001 - 265 lb
2002 - 240 lb (trying to get in the same shape as his AC winning form of that year, where he was 248 ish)
2003 - 287 lb
2004 - 300 even
2005 - 275 lb

same reason dorian jumped from 242 to 257 from 92 to 93.
