OMG WTF???? THE BANK DECREASED MY CREDIT LIMIT????

WTF?????

I went grocery shopping today and my card was declined!
my limit is 2000 bucks and i only owed 700 dollars and i made a 900 dollar payment today(not reflected yet)

so i called the credit card and they said my limit was DECREASED!

so they transfer me to this nasty woman in some dept and she said cuz i was late on a store credit card i have and a collections agency was involved and now my limit is dropped to 800 dollars!!!! WTF????

then she asked me all these questions and then told me i was denied an increase

thank god i have a pack of chicken and steak in my freezer

now i have to go look for loose change around my aprtment

i have 7 bucks in my wallet and 18 bucks in savings

damn it damn it

the lady was so nasty to me on the phone
it wa slike i was on trial

cuz i was late on laptop i bought back in 2007 that the company settled on for less than i owed and cuz i was late on a store card that is now payed in full...and cuz of my low income and no savings she refused to raise my limt back up

what if i want to cancel my card and i tell them why cuz they decrease it...will they raise it bak up to keep me?????????????????????????????????

ive always paid my credit card ahead of time
ive never missed a payment
i only owed 700 on my main cred card and i paid 900 today so i dont even owe them anything

just cuz of this dumb store credit card for 200 bucks i was late on 3 times and this happens-and that was paid off last week

No, just makes you look stupid.  Bills are either paid "on time" or they're not.  You don't earn any "extra credit" for paying more than you owe.  If my bill isn't due until September 20th, then that's the day they'll get it.  Until then, the cash will be in my account earning interest for me.
