you were charmed by obama, so what

hes quadrupled the deficit in under one year

and raising taxes

and prices on goods are going up, i remember grapejuice at the time of the obama election was 2.25 for 64 ounces now its 3.33!

he doesnt want buisness to grow because he taxes them more now. he wants GOVERNMENT to grow his team who have no incentive to make a profit. do you understand?

But Getbig is full of Lib's that will come on and start defending Obama and his shitty Presidency so far.  240 might even be the first one.... ?

I'm a gun-toting florida cracker who was sick and tired of bush lying and bullying the world into dropping the dollar.

It has lost almost 50% of its value since 2001.  This worries me.  I care not about the daily politics of 'he said, she said'.  I do worry about currency falling because Bush just gave the world the finger while mccain held his gym bag.

The White House is supposed to engage in "periodic mapping" of private networks deemed to be critical, and those companies "shall share" requested information with the federal government.

how about that part? i bet you were ok with the patriot act as well?
This is text from the actual bill:

(5) shall direct the periodic mapping of Federal Government and United States critical infrastructure information systems or networks, and shall develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of the mapping process;

As the article above pointed out, the federal government having some authority over critical infrastructures is not unprecedented. Even with all the fearmongering in the article,

these people who would piss themselves calling 911, calling me a lib.  oh brother.

not saying it was but if you go back and read my post im sure others that have been critical of bush in this arena are now giving barry a pass...this is the angle i was presenting and you cannot deny that...I understood the need for the patriot act but was still against it as I understand the need for this in a time of crises but lets be consistent and not butt boys like 240 and lurker...

  • Dumb people think Trump is smart.
No one is giving him a pass.  And no one is giving typical fear mongering reporting from Drudge a pass either.

Still not a damn thing about how he is going to shut down ISPs or comlinks for 3g and satellite access to the internet for us.

Notice the key word in there "share".

I have already said I didn't support the Patriot Act.

Your post seemed to be in response to someone asking how this shows the admin is angling for control over the internet.
Even with all of the fear mongering in the article, the basic gist of the bill seems to be that the White House has the authority to take critical infrastructure offline in the event of an attack. There is nothing in the bill about giving the president control over private networks beyond that. This isn't even comparable to the patriot act. Parts of the patriot act basically legalized secret police and made it virtually illegal for the accused to defend themselves.
