Let's see, I'm East Indian.  Nasser is half-Arab and half-Slavic.  Any commonalities there?   Not really.  One can argue that my Muslim  background is in common with Nasser's, but if that's the case why am I not a fan of other Muslim bb's like Mostafa Muhammad, Ahmed Haider, etc.  Also, I'm closer in ethnicity to Zack Khan, yet no fanship there either.

They are probably recent immigrants who can be very nationalistic, but most people of Indo-Pak origin living in the West don't hate each other and like myself can consider Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans, etc. as "East Indian," without meaning you are from the current country of India.

hardly- Knew a couple of Sri Lankans and they sure as hell don't consider themselves Indians (even though their great grandparents  may have migrated) In fact they resent Indians for meddling in their countries affairs. Pakistani's and Indians don't think much of each other either especially after the recent bombing.

I don't know what Sri Lankans consider themselves as, what I do know is that most Pakistanis I know from the West can refer to themselves as "East Indian" as well as practically anyone who is brown even if they're from Guinea, Sri Lanka, wherever.  I doubt most Indians living in t he west (who aren't recent immigrants) believe Pakistanis are of a different origin either.  The ones who have a hissyfit and hate each other are usually recent immigrants.  Anyway what does this have to do with men in thongs?
