The worst country in the world to live in has got to be North Korea.

Every home in the country have speakers in them which broadcast messages from "The Dear Leader" on a regular basis - people have no freedom, they're starving, and there's basically no hope for anyone. Can't think of a more miserable place on earth.

Having said that, I'd imagine most countries in sub-saharan Africa are probably pretty miserable too.
