Kyle Smith- my favorite writer next to Charles Kruchthaimer ( sp?) tore the Times a new one in this past Sundays NY Post over their idiocy concerning Van Jones.

The Times' managing editor claimed the Times was too understaffed to report the story when it broke, but instead featured stories about dog walking in NYC and other garbage. The Times then tried to downplay the importance of Van Jones to the Obama administration... but this comes after a few months earlier the Times proclaimed Jones to be a rising star, one of the most important members of the cabinet, and etc. etc.

The final and cringe inducing act by the Times in relation to Van Jones, is its refusal to acknowledge him as a communist. Everytime the Times mentions Jones as a communist, its as an alleged communist, or republicans claim Jones to be a communist etc.

I am paraphrasing of course, but for anyone who wants a good chuckle and serious reporting, check out Smith from this past Sunday.
