I'm a Fox News fan but this is just inexcusable, piss-poor journalism.  I checked other sources on the net and the cops are saying she hasn't done anything wrong.

Definitely a huge black-eye for Fox.

Ugh....

that video looked authentic.  I saw no reason to believe otherwise..  If that lady lied, that's her stupidity, not the investigator.  She also decided to play along with them when the only thing she should have been doing was saying, "sorry we don't do that here, it's against the law"  Instead she gave them advice based on her fictional bullshit?  oh great, that's much better... not...

I can't blame fox for this one.  There's a ton of valid shit to nail them on, this ain't it.  This is all on the stupid bitch at acorn that decided to go into fantasy land, give advice based on a fantasy she was "playing along with" ::) when she should have just said, "WTF, that's illegal and I can't advise you on that."  media matters does a good job on a lot of shit, this one they're in the wrong on.

I think they're wrong.  As journalists they do have an obligation to check facts.  And with Fox always getting beatdown, they're under more pressure than anybody to check for accuracy.  I still like Fox, but they dropped the ball on this one.

technically all they sad is that she admitted to killing her husband.  That's true, she did just that.  Plain and simple, she should have just said, "I can't help you, that's illegal."  Instead she launched into a fiction and it got reported.  Who's at fault, the person who launched the fiction or the person who reported it?  I'm going to give more blame to the liar and the person who unethically advised them based on a fiction.  I mean does it really matter if she killed her husband, she sat there advising these guys with that being the assumed truth and valid method of handling things in that business.  good grief, I hate fox noise but what this stupid bitch did was worse than fox reporting it.

I'm sure there are man rambling delusional idiots out there (just check out this board) - maybe Fox can interview them. There is nothing illegal about being crazy or delusional - Fox fucked up pure and simple - this lady hasn't done anything wrong.

you see nothing wrong in advising a prostitute and pimp in the setup they wanted to start ::)  When they said what they wanted to do I probably would have called the cops.  At least told them to take a hike.  This lady encouraged the shit and made up a stupid story to make it sound like she was experienced with the advice.  And all you see here is what Fox did wrong?  Really?

remember, this lady is working for an organization that recieves tax dollars.  I have no problem with this crap being reported even if she didn't actually kill anyone.  That she sat there and entertained their bullshit is worth reporting.  How can anyone defend the shit that came out of her mouth?  You guys act like it was on her own time or something.  She's working for acorn and representing them while she's working for them.  And that's the crap she spews?  She entertains a pimp and prostitute?  What?  hello???

and again, fox reported that she confessed to a murder and running her own prostitution gig... That happens to be exactly true, she did indeed confess to these things.  That it was false, she had to answer to a police inquiry which makes it a new development in the story.  It doesn't make reporting it in the first place wrong...  what are you guys asking the media to do?  Conduct their own murder investigation to confirm it?  This went down as it should.  Now if Fox doesn't report the new development, that's something to nail them on.

this isn't on husband and wife bullshitting at a party time is it?  It's on Acorn time in the context that they're seeking money to start up this gig.  come on, keep it in context.  In context it is news and trust me, I wish this wasn't happening.  I expected better from Acorn employees.  This is way way not cool.  and you know I hate fox as much as the next person.  I've ragged on them here as much if not more than anyone.

LOL !

I like the way this argument is about who is more dumb - Fox or the woman at Acorn.

US Politics is hitting an all time low right now. The whole country is looking like a Jerry Springer show.

Next week on Maury - Obama reveals his left wing tendencies to an unsuspecting Rush Limbaugh...

Another idiotic thread. The tape showed what she said.FOX didnt report it,they showed a tape of what an ACORN person said and repeated it.THe fact that you have a nut job bragging that she killed her husband, getting federal funds to advise people how to set up a brothel would offend most people.NOT Blacken though. To him, thats normal for groups like ACORN.
