Sorry - doesn't wash. I work for a company with 180,000 employees. Statistically speaking, one or 2 of them are bound to be nuttier than fruitcakes.
This is not a sign that:
- these people are typical of the organizations' employees
- these people have any say in managing the company
- that our company knows they are nuts
- that senior staff wouldn't get rid of them if they knew they were nuts
If one of our employees went and shot up a school in Japan, I would not expect everyone to blame our company.
This is not politics. It's entertainment. The problem is that many people in the US can no longer differentiate between the two.
Pedro my man, I won't be voting for you

Hey look bud, you're way out there on this. Your example doesn't even apply to this situation. To make it apply your company would:
A. Be engaged in political relevant issues on a National Level like Acorn is
B. Recieve tax dollars and openly seeking more.
C. Have had the employee nutty incident repeated in many locations by different employees.
D. Have the nutty incident be an open offer to aid someone in an extremely illegal and unethical endevour.
If your company meets that criteria, I guarantee it's news and people want to know about it. Dems would be all over that story if it were a rightwing company helping republicans.
