Yeah government policy towards aboriginals has always been: "they can't take care of themselves we must do it for them". We did have the white australia policy back in the 50s to only let certain immigrants into the country but that was long ago. When we voted for aborigines to get voting rights back in the 60s it was like 90% in favour.

Well I don't know - you talk about the riots in Sydney but you cannot name another instance I'm sure. I mean if you were to compare them to the LA riots - I mean no one was even killed in Sydney.
