It cant stay like it is because it is going broke since the politicians have made promises to people that cant be met. 

HOWEVER

Obama is trying to sell us on the idea that $500 billion can be found in saving in medicare itself to finance his new plan but at the same time is saying we are spending too much. WTF? ? ? ? ? 

Do you realize how dumb this sounds from a logical point of view? 

If we are going broke because we are spending too much, than you have to cut back, change eligibility, or raise taxes, not enact MORE SPENDING. 

Also, if there is $500 billion in sanvings to be had, why dont they do that now, regardless of whether there is a plan or not?  if medicaire is considered a good program, but for the waste fraud and abuse of $500 bill as he says, than why cant they just cut that out and sure up what people already like?

Medicare, like most other govt programs, was well meaning when it was enacted, but has turned into a fiscal black hole.

That's fine, but the facts of the articles I post are never in dispute.   The fact that Obama admn is crashing and burning under its own weight so soon is sure to be upsetting to the people who were considered "believers", but tough shit.

As far Obama, I agree with you that he's not being true about what it will take to fix the system.

but he's right as far as that universal health care can bring down overall costs.

Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill Calls for Cutting Back on Providing Motorized Wheelchairs through Medicare - Video
 

Here is a video report on calls by Missouri Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill to cut back on providing motorized wheelchairs to people through Medicare. She was citing this as a place to save money and reduce Health Care costs.

Here is a perfect example of how the Democrats' Government Health Care would inevitably result in rationing of care. It has not even passed, and McCaskill is already talking about what the Government can get rid of in order to pay for their massive plan.
