And I shudder to think what your girl would look like in a bikini compared to Laura.

And what exactly makes us so shallow? What makes us irresponsible? Selfish? (middle aged - I'll give ya) Narcissistic?? Because we post pictures of ourselves? Dude, are you not proud of anything you have ever done? Did you not want to be recognized? It's not like we're on a gaming board, or a forum about racing or whatnot. We're posting these pictures on a fricken BODYBUILDING board. If you don't like it, you do NOT belong here.

And btw...you obviously know nothing about me or my life to think I'm not somewhat inspiring. I just spent the last 2 years battling cancer and auto-immune disease (Sarcoidosis - the same shit that killed Bernie Mac). I've been through 3 life threatening surgeries within 5 months during that time and NEVER once asked for sympathy nor did I let it get me down. I fought and I came back and got my ass back on stage and hold my own, thank you very much. So I'm sorry if you don't think I'm "inspiring". I personally don't care. The sad thing with Mike is, he is competing in the "Master's division" and still getting either dead last or close to it on every show. Mike has taken the worst drugs possible and it would be not surprise to hear that he has some kind of heart attack from the past and current use. At his age, most respected men have a family, money in the bank, brain cells, a future, but not Mike Arvilla. He lives in the moment. Like his paycheck, he has very little in life and he knows it, thats why he posts all day long, instead of thinking about his future and doing anything. He gets wet from a bunch of people online. Poor guy is a joke.

One thing that really pisses off the nover been /wanna bees here at get big is :
1. Having a typical guy or gal getting in contests and actually putting it on the line , etc
You and Mike are good examples of how NOT everyone can look decent on stage . You both have built decent physiques that are way beyond the avg Joe and Jane.

2. Suggest that a good contest level physique can be built with little or no drugs.

Why does this piss them off? It involves work and dedication as the main reasons for success.
It is far easier to blame pro genetics and drug cycles on their own lack of BB success.

Do you really know his financial situation? I sure as hell don't.
Ok for starters he competes in the NPC in south Florida. The comp down there is really tough.
PLUS, Mike never claims to be the national masters champ , he is proud of what he is able to put on stage.
I have never met Mike or Laura, but they seem to love BB and are simply proud of what they have done, no more, no less.
Ironic how some guys that write rude stuff about Laura, wouldn't wash their "units" for a yr if they ever were lucky enough to get with a woman that pretty.

( in every show i have entered the "Open Class" as well as the "Masters" never got "last place" always placed in the top 2 ......exception NPC Florida State Show placed 9th (stacked and packed show! Mark Antonek was in my class (both open heavyweights and masters) he turned pro a week later at the "North Americans"........like i said i hold my own do quite well...never look/go for an "easy win"or "trophy hunt"/always enter a really good show/contest and do the open and masters as stated

They're just having fun, dude. When you're on this board a while you want to put a face to the name. And they get a kick out of competing in bodybuilding. Pictures come with the territory. Gives some spice to their life. It's not my thing. I like to wrestle with grown men (cue chaos) and get my bones broken. Gives me something to get out of bed in the morning.

I never understand why people give shit to others who are just doing their own thang and not hurting anybody. One guy even criticize them for not having kids. Hell, I wouldn't be surprise if those Arvilla losers aren't punching a 8-5 clock and watching Dancing with the Stars while eating fried chicken and mash potatoes. There's a script to follow here in the USA and they better get with the program!

Time to grow up and get fat like everybody else!

The only second place you got was in a contest with 3 competitors. It's lies like this and how you bend the truth that proves what a joke of a person you are. You will never be a true bodybuilder as you dont have the genetics or knowledge. You are fat and out of shape at all your contests and blame it on your height. LOL.
