  • "What you don't have is a career."

When asked whether he was worried about the flu hitting Tennessee, Kiffin had this to say: "I don't know. I guess we'll wait and after we're not excited about a performance, we'll tell you everybody was sick."

 ;D

Kiffin is a little bitch who is living off his daddy's reputation.  Fast talking, used care salesman who will be out at UT in less than 3 years.

I'm a huge Vol fan, and can tell you Kiffen has done more to reinvigorate this program in 9 months than fat Phil Fulmer could do in 17 years. He put together a top 10 recruiting class in 2 months, which Phil had at #35 or so. Our guys actually played the Gators tough for the first time in years. All the people who call him a douche only know what the talking heads at ESPN tell them, which is never good. CUM ;D(Coach Urban Meyer) is a cry baby and had a ton of excuses of why the mighty Gators couldn't obliviate the measly Vols.  UT will be good again, he just needs 2-3 years of stocking his own talent. Nick Saban went 6-6 his first year at Bama, now look at him.

NO WAY!  He will only go as far as daddy's defense carries him.  Not to mention, probably get the Vols on probation.

dov, I really don't think he will.  UT has always had very good recruiting classes and put a ton of players in the pro's....so it's not like he is resurrecting SMU or something, but the SEC is absolutely loaded right now with GREAT coaches.  He's kinda like Jerry Glanville was for the Falcons.....talk a load of crap but won't be able to back it up when the chips are really down.  Hell, I could have been the offensive co-ordinator at USC during that time! haha  He has/had a lot of people talking about UT, but for the right reasons?  I think not.

Maybe they can get Johnny Majors back after that tub of shit Fulmer took his job while Majors was in a hospital bed.....

No   he's a winner   he's just new to all of this   and needs to learn when to say when.   He lacks ethical skills  which hurts his reputation  now.   Probation is possible  but if not , the Vols will own the SEC soon!!!!

Fulmer did a great job,   but today's players are not made for guys like him and (former SC coach ) Robinson.   The QB's have sucked since Peyton left   but the Colts will be saying that a couple of years from now also.

See thinking Fulmer did a great job tells me you never really followed Vols football.  I grew up in the western part of NC and Tenn was very close by..."knew" some former players....not like I was big buddies, but guys like Heath Shuler, Carl Pickens (old school) and Shawn Bryson....Fulmer was a success because of a decent staff and Tenn always had top flight recruits.  The SEC was actually down during much of his time and his record was only OK.  He had TONS of talent, evidenced by the guys who ended up in the NFL, but the guy was a very, very mediocre coach.  The guy didn't even have Peyton starting as a freshman until an injury to the starter....can you imagine wasting a year of Peyton?

Exactly!!!! When his last 3-4 recruiting classes were not so great, and the coach had to actually coach, the program went downhill quick. Kiffen already has the #3 class for 2010(early reports) and all his coaches have college and NFL experience. Kiffen is pretty much coaching a team without a qb, because our starter has to be the absolute worst in the SEC, maybe even college football. He did a good job coaching against the Gators, all things considered. He'll be fine, give him another year or two, you'll see ;)

He's got my full endorsement.  Tennessee is really the ONLY SEC team I care for.

I second that...We need a QB, plain & simple. I think its only a matter of time before Tennessee is a top 5 again.
