Bob Chick once told me at an expo that he now does the kind of things that being a pro BB should lead to.
Every pro BB  is going to hang the trunks up at some time. After that, if you want to stay involved in the sport you have few basic outlets, from supplement promotion( Gaspari) , judging or promotion / MC, etc.
Bob Chick is a good spokesman for our sport of BB. The guy has a deep knowledge of BB and it's history.

I would think there are not that many people at the Olympia who "have" to take drugs. Most do it because they want to, not because they need to or are forced to.
