Ronnie looks incredible from the back and from the waist down. Need to see him on stage under the lights to be sure about his overall look however.

I was thinking the same thing. Against the guns of Dexter, Heath, Jay, etc he may be OUTgunned overall.
Having said that I was always a fan of the Rockel physique.

He's about the only bodybuilder who I've seen doing real squats.

The small arms mean he hasn't injected shit in there.

Sad but true fact about synthol/escaline use being more common than many admit.
Rockel has a near perfect flow and balance to his physqiue but lacks the freaky arm mass and crazy, freaky look that modern pros must have to win. Oh well that is the reality of the Olympia winners.

nothing stands out, he'll get lost in the shuffle, but id have to say thats the best condition ive seen him in........usually his lower back and glutes/hams are soft.

While everything does seem to blend together well, if not damn near perfect, is that what BBing's all about?! You're supposed to have symmetry and proportion, and not so much a freakish part that stands out, but having a freakish part isn't all that bad unless it's far out of proportion like Ernie Taylor's triceps. Of course those had more oil than many peoples car motors.

That's the best I've ever seen Ronnie's back look. He actually seemed to have made an improvement on it, and if he can keep that progression up, hopefully he can be recognized more, or as he deserves.

ive always been a fan of Ronny, great over all appearance and shape, yes a bit lacking on arm's, even if shrunk his quads a lil he'd look better. I'd place him top 6, for sure, he's the direction we SHOULD be aiming for. but truth is he dose lack freakiness....so i say he places 10th.

This could be the best Ronny Rockel yet. Pics up to the show looked good and these pics show he is much drier than normal. Back looks improved, lower back crisp. Ronny is near Dexter's weight, no chance he'd make 202. Legs are huge. Arms are still fairly big, I think it was the angle in the first pic. The arms look much better and very proportional in the second pics.
Yeah, many BBers site inject their arms and sometimes look stupid. Ronny always looks great, excellent flow, structure, fairly massive, and never funky bodyparts. He should absolutely place in the top 10 with this package.
Get ready to bitch cause the judges will probably overlook him again for more sponsored BBers.
