No doubt the bantamweight winner of the usa's was also sharper in the lower back than Jay but bodybuilding is the muscle,and Jay could afford to melt down 50lbs of his muscle,attach it to a colostomy bag and then piss it all over Dexter wifebeater and still have tons more muscle then dexter

I'm happy for jay. I didn't think it was possible to come in this kinda shape for him again. he gets a lot of hate for being a mediocre title holder because of last year... but he could do a lot for his legacy to win looking like this.

Jay's lower back is completely dry...I totally disagree with the person starting the thread. Jay just doesn't have striations in his low back, thats genetic.

I think Jay and Dex are both incredible and both very different. I can see it going either way depending on what the judges want.

Bullshit. Striations are mostly genetic. Some BBers have striated glutes, others don't. Some guys have large spinal erectors but no deep striations, thats not a weak back. Of course you'll see some lower back detail on everyone when they are at extremely low BF but not everyone will have deep striations. You can see from that picture that Jay's lower back is dry as hell, same with Dexters...both are in excellent condition. It may be the pose & pic why you don't see a ton of development in either one in those shots.
