Gotta disagree on this one, he doesn't need a year off, he needs to compete more so he can get his prep down and stop fucking it up.  Plus he needs to get with a real trainer who can put improvements on his frame, what he's done the last 2 years isn't working (training wise) and he needs some guidance.
