I agree. My wife was always wondering about my passion with bodybuilding compitions. Most people don't understand that this is sort of a competition especially when guys like Kai do these creepy things on stage. I explain that many of bodybuilding fans admire those "atheletes" for what they achieved and like to watch their muscle size, conditioning, training, etc. However, this does not remotely include watching them dancing, shaking their asses or anyone of these sick moves that mainly target the gay audience.
My advise in these situation is to take it lightly and not to defend yourself, you may explain to her what you like and dislike but always stay confident. She will eventually understand your passion about bodybuilding. It is like when women watch shows that talk about make up and beauty tips for hours.
Never allow the social pressure to make you treat bodybuilding material like porn!
