If you surf the 'net, you'll find a lot of stories about how the healthcare corporations are encouraging citizens and, in some cases, bussing in their own employees to disrupt town hall meetings.

And the Demoncrat and Republiwhore beaurecrats who put corporate interests in front of the interests of the average, middle-class people like most of us on these message boards are all too happy to just sit back and let it happen.

If you're opposed to socialized medicine (which I am), it should be because you've taken the time to study the facts, not because Sarah Palin or some Cigna-slut tells you to be opposed to it.

I can't copy-and-paste on these lousy company computers. Just enter some phrase like 'shills behind town halls' into Yahoo or Bing.

While there may be some, you simply cant make the claim that all of the people were.  If you think all of the town halls and the 9/12 march were phony, wait till cap & trade kicks in.

There is a rebellion going on against this marxist junta that is intent on making us a 3rd world dictatorship.

I suspect that most of the people at the town hall meetings are indeed normal, everday citizens with genuine concerns about healthcare. It's a shame that they're being drowned out by the corporate healthcare whores.

I'm sure your right MB, but the majority of people opposing the democratic plan are worried about:
1. Cost (when Obama has taken us to unprecidented national debts with planned budget deficits for years..and the jobless rate is still climbing)
2. Big Government control.  Many decisions have already been made by this administration (and Bush as well) that make the federal government larger with more power over people and the private sector.
3. Wait times, more red tape, non-medical people making decisions, more rationing and decreased access to certain medical services under a government option plan.

These are legitimate concerns.  Some on the left are diverting to race and other tactics to make real opposition illigitimate.
