There has been a lot of speculation on the internet lately about why East Asia has suddenly been rife with disasters--megaquakes, supertyphoons and volcanic eruptions.
One meteorologist said that having so many storms is normal for this time of year. But, most of them have been of the "super" variety. That is NOT "normal".
Geologists say it is unusual to have so many large quakes occur so close together. They say that they don't know if they are related to one another.

Scientists in Indonesia now expect a minimum 8.8 quake near Sumatra. It may rival or surpass the 2004 version. This energy will continue to attract gigantic typhoons in East Asia. The worst is yet to come.
