In Chicago, Ill an honor student, Derrion Albert, was beaten to death on his way home from school. The beating showed three young teenagers hitting the student with a large wooden object while he lay on the ground.

Each of the three teenagers were charged as adults with first-degree-murder and are being arraigned today. According to reports, the beating broke out between two rival gangs and Albert happened to get caught in the middle.

The search for more teenagers invovled in this murder is still be investigated and police are asking anyone with any details to come forward.

Seriously, kill them.  Get their DNA out of the gene pool.  This is the sort of case where capital punishment should be not only an option, but a requirement.

they deserve a second chance, maybe 10 years in jail, but no reason ruin 3 other lives just cause 1 life was ruined.  10 years outta get them straight and they will be fine.  Also who gives a shit if he was an honor student, he was a human being, whats with the labels like being an honor student makes him more special?  Comon ppl this was a mishap, I am sure the gang members did not plot this, just heat of the moment thing, those streets get really loaded with testosterone baby!

They should be put to death in a public hanging.  Second chance my ass.  Prison does NOT reform people, it makes people worse than what they were going in.  If these guys go in as murderers what do you think they'll be when they come out?  Of course they didn't "plot" it, that's why it's first degree murder.

no it's not first degree murder, did you watch the video.  It isn't some dude waiting inside a door or planning out a murder ahead of time, it is something that was in the moment, so 2nd or 3rd degree.
