I guess I've never thought about it.  I've only seen them used on men's shoes.

True.  Sometimes they fit at the store but later are too tight/loose, too good of a sale to pass up etc.   I had some that were too tight and never wore them.  I let a friend borrow them for a wedding...her clompers stretched them out and now I wear them all the time.

Not going to work because the water is just going to rise and freeze (notice in the after pix).  The baggies would have to be free of all air or something would have to be placed on the top so the water wouldn't rise as it froze...it would then try to expand.  It won't expand outward if it can go upward.  ;)

my shoes fit just fine, they are boys size four and a half.  of course, they are black chef shoes too, those are womens five and a half

I rarely wear shoes when not aat work
