They say that the Olympics will come to Chicago if we're fortunate enough to be selected, but really it's coming to America, and I can't think of a better city to represent the United States than Chicago

Yeah...Barry pitched it as coming to Chicago so he could pay back the scumbags that got him elected. Its always all about barry 240....

yeah, i think chicago was a terrible choice.  i always thought obama wanted it because of his friends and history there.

I didn't know Bush chose chicago a year ago.

way better cities in America to host, IMO.

It was a finalist BECAUSE of Bush.It failed BECAUSE of Obamas idiotic presentation.I especially like Michelle telling the story of sitting on her daddys lap watching Carl Lewsi.Of course she was 20 when Carl Lewis was at his first Olympics.

maybe somebody can correct this if it's wrong, but everywhere I looked, it shows that ONLY Chicago put in a bid.  Was there some selection here for the city before the bid was placed?  It sounds like Chicago might have been decided BEFORE Obama was even president.

Chicago was put in the running in 2006 from what I understand.

No,the reason Chicago failed was because of Rush limbaugh according to the brilliant Ed Shultz of the highly popular Ed Show.I think he broke the 50,000 vier mark last week.

really...is that way it failed...no no no...the fact that south america never hosted an olympic game didnt factor...na thats too easy..i know what...how about this...if obama dosent go...ill rag on him for not representing america and that was his duty..if he goes we will give him shit because chicago has so little chance anyway, when they get turned down we will just blame obama... yessssssssss
