Rehab in real life is even more intense than it appears on TV, if you can believe it.  Best party I've seen in years!!!

Great stuff guys.  Since the other couple is mainly trying to put this together I will def pass this stuff on so keep it coming.  Crowds are to be expected but we're just trying to avoid the worst of it.  I'm the only one of the group that gambles (or is any good at blackjack, lol) so that leaves us open for shows, dining, etc.

And thanks for all the suggestions regarding humping random poon and so forth but we aren't "those" kind of couples, hahaha!

Right now I'm thinking flying out on a Sunday and back on Thursday so we have enough time to see all that we want.  1k is light for a gambler but that's more to spend on the hotel and food and will keep me from overdoing it as I normally would.

Questions..

Def be needing a hot tub in the room, most places have it?  Lookin at up to 200 a night for a nice room if it's worth it.

Worth it to rent a car or walk?

Best casinos for card players in terms of most games, best dealers, good rep, etc.. (other than high rollers)?

Only rent for the day if you plan to take a day trip somewhere out of town.  Driving/traffic is insane.  After the cost of parking and valet service and the time you'd waste, you'd be better off with a taxi or limo, not to mention, you don't want to be drinking and driving.  There's also a monorail (not sure of its route) and a free tram that runs between the Bellagio and the Monte Carlo with stops inbetween.

Vegas is over rated.. Go to New Orleans and stay at Harrah's Casino.. Then hit Bourbon Street after.. And if you can swing it. Get your ass to a Saints Game to top off the weekend.

I lived down in the New Orleans area for years and all I can say is New Orleans sucked BEFORE Katrina....now, geeeeesh.
Good place to get mugged is all it is good for now.

stuntmovie has educated me on LV and it sounds like a hell of a time..plus, it's never winter and all the girls are hot/hoes

from what i see in craigslist, you can get a apartment there at a good price

Actually Vegas has a very very cold winter.  It snowed last year on the strip several times.  Dips into the 20's at night.
No Worries 4 me
