Fuck dude, that's heavy for a home lab! I know about the chinese copy shutdown, but still you can't justify Cisco cert prices, they're becoming like Microsoft.
the CCNA is $250 i think....been a while since i did a CCNA
each CCNP test is $150...which is not a lot
the CCIE written is $350 and it NEEDS to be...at that price you keep just any douche from taking it...and its low enough that people that r serious can and will take it and move on to the lab
the CCIE lab is $1400 and the proctor is always a CCIE...i dont mind paying that much for the CCIE lab....when ya know the return on it!

you need a minimum 3550 switch for a home lab cause you need to do routing on that switch (layer 3)...the 3550 are a minimum that support that if it has the EMI image
the 2600xm routers are the minimum for ipv6
i'm actually missing the 2800 series routers for MPLS but they r a grand a piece

i intend to replicate the lab from IP experts and netmasters..the best CCIE trainers around...buy their labs and solve em aty home instead of taking the classes
http://www.netmasterclass.net/ <--- netmasters....check out their list of CCIEs
