Actually if the award is to actually mean something, alot more people's opinions matter than just them.

Actually if the award is to actually mean something, alot more people's opinions matter than just them.

fair enough.

We all know this stuff doesn't really matter that much at all (at least not to me) and is more about symbolism and perhaps trying to influece global foreign policy

These are the guys making the decision, they state their criteria and their reason for choosing Obama.

I can remember a time when the Noble Peace Prize was a big deal, but as far as I'm concerned it stopped being so when Yasser Arafat got one.
