Mirko was a broken man afterwards. . Right after the fight ended he was caught on tape (while walking out of the arena ) telling one of his entourage that something is broken-mentally.

The brain, the knees, the training and recovery methods.
Look at CCs footwork and movement, his bodycomposition
upperbody is bigger than his juicing days, legs are half the size.

Yes., Hes Not the same crocop, aas plays a big role probably also. Probably more due to recovery time etc

Yeah they had a programme where Benn went to visit the guy who's life he basically ended. It was interesting as Benn got a lot of flack at the time for continuing to celebrate even after they knew McClellan may not ever wake up properly.

This is why I don't watch boxing. Boxing, by it's very rules, compeles the fighters to strike each other in the head. Boxing, in fact, is about seeing which fighter can shock the other fighter's brain the most and induce a coma. This is what KO is. Horrendous sport. I prefer MMA because it;s more interesting to watch as the fighters can use their entire bodies in the fight and fight both standing and on the ground. The other reason, of course, is that because they have so many options to defeat the opponent, there are far less direct strikes to the head. Most MMA fights start with a few minutes of punches and kicks thrown to the head and body fllowed by a leverage fight on the ground. And most KO in MMA are not KO at all, because the judge interrups the fight after it's clear that one of the fighters won't fight back due to the opponent being far superior. The reason why I rate the Fedor vs crocop fight as the best ever is due to the enormous amoung of striking and cunter striking from both sides as well as the awesome ground game of Fedor. This is it.

  Of all the fights I've ever see, this one was the greatest. It happened in PRIDE FC in 2005, for the heavyweight title, between Fedor and Crocop. This was also Fedor's toughest fight ever. He walked all over Nog twice, but he had to sweat and lose blood to defeat Mirko. He is, after all, the greatest leg striker ever and easily one of the top 5 hand striker as well. I remember that I bought the event on pay-per-view with one month left to the fight day, and it was worth every penny.
