this destroys the fuck out of the front delts and a part of the upper chest that doesnt get hit by normal chest movements.  been doing them the past few weeks and my upper torso from the side is popping out more and looking fuller.

Are you talking about front raises with a Barbell?  I have never thought of trying them like that, probably check that out tomorrow.  Thanks man.

P.S.
How has your progress been coming along?

Or you could do DB front raise, which gives better focus and balance to each side of the shoulders. At the top extended position, try twisting the the hand so the little finger is higher than the thumb and hold for a count of 2.

Front raises also work well with a higher angled incline bench. For some, front raises affect the small of the back too much. If so, than bend the knees slightly to reduce tension. Good Luck.

Hellz yeah I just so happened to check out that video today. It was back and shoulders today, so I was eager to try them. Very cool, they hit the front delts hella hard. I also did the pronated front raises that Glass had him doing. Both are going into heavy rotation from now on.

you can also do these seated on an incline bench. works great to take out any "sway" with the back.

Years back I had seen a couple of guy's do front raises while in the bent over rowing position (insert joke here............). Raised the DB's (seemed to work better than a BB I had been told) straight out in front of them. They did them one arm at a time. Would have thought that this would hit the read delts pretty good also. Worked well for them, they said.

Steep inclines are good, as suggested by tbombz, but try them face down on the incline bench for a different feel to the exercise. Can also do rear fly's from this position. Good Luck.
