True but the place is awesome.much more room to walk around,bigger bathrooms,and more concession stands.plus now I can take a train right to the stadium so no worries about drinking and driving.

see, with shea , you used to be able to take the 7 right to the stadium (IIRC).  Btw, i don't know if that is still the case with City Field
but with the old yankee stadium i don't think that was the case
that is very cool then cuz it makes the games much more accessable to all new yorkers and saves them from only going to Mets' games (ie being Mets fans)

but still the old stadium still holds a place in my heart cuz i remember those awesome teams from the late 80's early ninties consisting of roberto kelly, rick cerrone and mike paguilerillo (sp)

I'm in CT so it makes it great for me.the train is a Yankee stadium only train.no stop at Grand Central.the whole train is just for CT people going to the game.you should see some of the rides home
