Bloodwork (what to test?)
« on: October 19, 2009, 01:21:57 AM »
Hey guys,

I have been going to the local doctor to get my bloodwork done, although I explained him the situation, I feel that I am still missing some values that ought to be tested. I have done some searches on this, but besided explanations on what different values mean, i couldnīt find much.

So when on gear, what value do you NEED to test when doing a bloodwork?

How about after cycle?

I appreciate your answers,
t

   Before and after cycle ideally!

    * Testosterone profile (includes Free and Total Testosterone)
    * Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
    * DHEA (adrenal function)
    * TSH, T3, T4 (thyroid function)
    * IGF-1 (growth hormone function)
    * Insulin (the hormone of storage)
    * Cortisol (the stress hormone)
    * Estradiol (to make sure it is not too elevated)
    * Complete Metabolic Panel (electrolytes, renal and liver function)
    * CBC (complete blood count with indices)
    * Lipid Panel (cardiac risk)
