i believe that 40 pound dumbbells for YOU wouldn't be enough, it is 'shown' that you require a certain level of resistance and repetition range to work certain anaerobic systems to promote hypertrophy and not break the aerobic threshold with light weight and alot of reps? I'm no expert but i think im touching on it here
Delayed Onset Muscxle Soreness = DOMSYou do legs on Mon.,get sore on Tuesday,but wake up even more sore on Wed. and/or Thurs.By the way Waddy,you can`t get DOMS doing 40 pound dumbell squats!! HTH
You could if you hadn't trained legs at all before.
