This was the story I was reading, when I saw that horse article.

Police: Strict Iraqi Father Ran Daughter Down

20-year-old daughter suffered serious injuries

PEORIA, Ariz. - Peoria police are looking for a father suspected of running down his daughter because she was becoming too "westernized" and was not living according to their traditional Iraqi values.

Peoria police say 48-year-old Faleh Hassan Almaleki of Glendale allegedly ran his daughter down Tuesday at an Arizona Department of Economic Security parking lot in Peoria....

This is exactly that they should watch that case about the FL girl, who converted to Christianity and ran away from home (fearing her Muslim father would kill her), needs to be watched very closely.

That's outrageous.  I hope though we don't jump to conclusions that all Iraqi or muslim immigrants are like this.

He probably saw her myspace and facebook pages and all those pics, that's enough to make westernized father pissed off

Here is the question, just like the father who caught the 16 yr old having sex with is stepdaughter and shot the kid 4 times, what would this father have done, shot the daughter or the boy?

This guy apparently wasn't too pleased that his daugther was shacking up with her boyfriend (and assumedly fornicating with him), feeling that it brought shame and dishonor to his family.

This is why we should have religious freedom but not be over P.C.
Must make an example of people like this to show where the boundries of your religious freedoms end in this country.  We do not have (and must be forceful about accepting any form of) Sharia law.

Just think!! This woman is "merely" shacking up with her boyfriend. That's why I say that girl from Ohio, who fled to Florida after converting to Christianity, may end up dead before this year ends.

There are cases like this popping up all over the country.   But heck, look at all those koreans doing the same thing!

This is an isolated incident. This is the first example of something like this happening in the Muslim world. Never mind stories like the 13 year old girl who was stoned to death before 1000 people in a Somali stadium for reporting to the police that she was gang raped. Or the wealthy Muslim man living in America who beheaded his wife last year because she wanted a divorce. Muslims are peaceful and treat women with respect. Seriously!  ::)

Now, Fox News just reported that this girl just died from her injuries.

And, I still believe that girl from Ohio will be next.
