I wonder how he would stand up today against the top 10 built like this? I just saw a small article in MM. It was a pic of him and Bob today. Kind of sad

The article talked about his and Bob's friendship and his perception today on bodybuilding and training.

Makes you wonder what other guys are headed down the same road oblivious at this moment to what might be happening to them internally.

Or is that too profound of a thought for this time of night?

Tom admitted to "partying" and if he consumed as much Advil as he said he did it more than likely played a role. Also, diuretics did not help. I would think bulking drugs were the least of his worries.

At his best Tom was a very good bodybuilder, one who never reached his potential.

i would never want to be that big, even now as a tiny tit people begin about how much you bench and train and everywhere you go ur one of the wider guys. attention is nice at some moments but most people have a lot of prejudices about you and you have to prove yourself twice as much as a regular joe. certainly women are more intimidated.
