WWE resigns former star
« on: October 23, 2009, 05:43:52 AM »
What do people think about this?  I never liked him in the tag team, but he looked promising as a singles competitor.  Will he get a decent push, or just be another Chris Masters?

PWInsider.com reported Thursday night that WWE has reached a new deal with Lance Cade.

Cade, who was contracted with WWE from 2003 to 2008, was released from his contract while in the midst of a push that saw him align with Chris Jericho and wrestle his one-time trainer Shawn Michaels.

Though details at the time of his release were initially sketchy, veteran Jim Ross quickly added some color to the situation, noting, "Lance Cade was dismissed from the WWE because, like many humans, he made a major league mistake while utilizing bad judgment that cost him his job. This included Lance having a seizure on an airplane and having to have emergency medical care."

Drinking some bad ICO-PRO can have a similar effect.
 :)

This “wellness policy” is necessary for the old man to save face.
On the surface it looks like a solid plan.

What I suspect you’ll see, though, is more of this type of scenario:
Someone (like Lance) screws up.
He’s fired, thus allowing Vince to live up to his drug/substance policy.
12-16 months later, the guy is rehired.

It’s certainly believable to me because it’s happened before.
Look how many times they fired & rehired the Iron Sheik.
Vince has a habit of putting business before personal matters…usually…with rare exception (think Shane Douglas).

^^Agree.

Although anything will be refreshing after the Cena/Orton one-hour Broadway they're having this Sunday. Well, it won't be a draw, but whatever ending they choose will be just as lame.

They just need some new(er) faces with some new/different ideas.

I personally always thought Cade had a ton of potential.
