Anyone who thinks Peter Putnam is a better bodybuilder than Frank Zane needs to get their eyes checked. These two aren't even in the same league. To quote Lee Labrada "The bodies have gotten bigger, they have not gotten better."

I saw an earlier post which compared the two and people actually thought Putnam was better. They claimed that today Putnam would be judged better than Zane. To me that just indicates how misguided the judging is today. For example Branch beating Dexter. Do I need to say more. $:-\$

qaulity, yeah right, zane had genetics of a swimmer and couldn't even compete with the advanced competition of today. How bout you show Dexter the little twink of today against twink Zane, the current twink on the Olympia scene outmasses twink ass zane be 3x.

If Putnam can turn pro than Zane surely could turn pro. If Zane wanted to put on more muscle he could. In fact he had much bigger legs earlier in his career, but decided they were overpowering his upper body.

I once read a leg workout he had with Arnold where he out-squated
Arnold with 400 lbs. So, the guy was strong and could have easily converted that strength to mass. He was striving for a look. Forget how much you weigh. What do you look like in the mirror.

I wish my gym had people that look like this. Talk about motivation.
