Just wondering, No before somone suggests, i don't have aids lol.

I thought it makes their immune system shutdown eventually, but why would that make them skinny

in full blown AIDS, without the meds that keep the virus under control, HIV can infect and kill off cells of the stomach and intestines, making it harder to absorb nutrition.

Actually it is the protease inhibitors that leads to more muscle wasting fat loss than the virus itself.

muscle wasting fat loss?

yes, PIs can cause your intestines to push food through very fast, meaning less time to absorb nutrition, (and never very solid BMs) but there are ways to deal with that (psyllium works wonders). some people do lose lots of fat in their legs and face, but no one dies from that. AIDS wasting was a serious problem and often lead to death, but it rarely ever happens since the introduction of the PIs.

1. Anal sex (gay or bi)
2. Needle sharing (drug addict)

it is unlikely, but not impossible, for a male without any other STDs or cuts or lesions to get HIV from a female with HIV. It is certainly possible for a female to get HIV from a male who is HIV positive. it is statistically possible to get HIV through cuts on your hands or elsewhere.

only two things are needed to transmit HIV: body fluid containing infected T-cells; a path into your blood system

The chance of an infection by needle sharing is less than 1:1000.
