there is so much misinformation in this paragraph. its not the free virus that is the means of transmission, its the t-cells that are acting as HIV factories. its not the outside of the needle that is the problem, its the inside. a single t-cell could survive days if not weeks inside a the needle. and licking? licking fresh semen is not going to transmit HIV. the t-cell needs a path into the blood stream.
This is incorrect. The probability of being infected with HIV is directly correlated to the viral load of the infected person - i.e. the amount of virus in the bloodstream. Any foreign cells that end up in another persons body are immediately destroyed by the immune system.
And for others in the thread, the most common method of transmission of HIV worldwide is through heterosexual activity. In the US, it is more associated with homosexual activity, although it is increasingly becoming more common among heterosexuals. Bottom line...no homo...and wrap it up
