Still the risk to get the infection by needle sharing is ridicolously small. There is only such a small amount of disease agents at the tip of a needle. Furthermore the HIV virus survives only a few minutes outside the human body. After 30 minutes you can lick on the needle an Aids patient has sticked in his ass beforehand and nothing won't happen. Like I said, around 1:1000.

there is so much misinformation in this paragraph. its not the free virus that is the means of transmission, its the t-cells that are acting as HIV factories. its not the outside of the needle that is the problem, its the inside. a single t-cell could survive days if not weeks inside a the needle. and licking? licking fresh semen is not going to transmit HIV. the t-cell needs a path into the blood stream.

there has to be an abrasion or lesion. urethral infection, herpes, various other STDs, wanking off too hard, bj with braces. cuts on the hand can be a pathway too. the odds are low, but not zero.

This is incorrect. The probability of being infected with HIV is directly correlated to the viral load of the infected person - i.e. the amount of virus in the bloodstream. Any foreign cells that end up in another persons body are immediately destroyed by the immune system.

And for others in the thread, the most common method of transmission of HIV worldwide is through heterosexual activity. In the US, it is more associated with homosexual activity, although it is increasingly becoming more common among heterosexuals. Bottom line...no homo...and wrap it up

If you want to know why i was curious about this it's because i was looking at Queen videos on youtube and hearing about how Freddie Mercury became emaciated(not that he wasn't already) towards the end of his life that's how people suspected he had aids.

Actually, the incidence of HIV seroconversion is roughly 1:300. I know this because this is the risk medical professionals are at when dealing with accidental needle sticks. If you are directly injecting into veins, I'd imagine the risk is even higher.
