I know trainers with a great educations and CSCS's that couldn't potty train a child let alone someone for fitness or athletics but are great at marketing themselves. Bottom line is, a great education in fitness doesn't mean shit without real world experience. Quit equating the two Vince.

I don't have any problems with my PT business or selling training packages monthly. The only thing bigger is the equipment business. This is proof that an ISSA cert or any nationally certified acredited PT course is worth its money

That's for the month. Steve can talk all he wants but as I've stated before, his pro status doesn't mean crap and I would smoke him anyday when it comes to training. Normally, I don't put out numbers but I decided to make an exception

Chuckle. Namat is a fool for going and saying f@## ISSA and NASM. Fact is that credentials matter and his IFBB pro card won't get him one client.

He needs to go and take a real course. The ProPTA gives certifications out to any IFBB pro so he basically has no education whatsoever in training people. If he gets his head out of his ass and does a recognized course, he'll do a lot better

Yea, and its what gyms and clients look for. They go on the internet and do research before hiring a personal trainer. They don't just look at anyone in shape or a piece of eye candy.

If you don't have the proper certifications or diplomas then you're going to have a hard time convincing people that you are competent to train them or they are simply going to ignore you. I've been doing this for many years so I know the ups and downs of the business
