In fairness,and I hate him more then ANYONE on television,he wasnt on the air much in Oct.He had that even bigger failure replacing him[I forget his name].Olbermann is a vast failure,an amazing failure,but,to be fair,hard to knock his ratings when he wasnt there.

can't stand the guy replacing him.  He's a serious asshole.  Olbermann has been spending time with his dad who is sick.  Last year was also right before the election.  I think Olbermann's viewers has gone mostly up since he started and yes I know it's way less than bill O...

If he spoke more controversially he'd have better numbers.  I'm sure he's fine though.  He still has millions watching him on nbc football night and he does what he loves.  great guy imo.

Spoke more controversially?  Your kidding, right?

Ratings may be down for the above reasons, especially if he hasn't been on the show.  Subs almost always get worse ratings.

Also, msmbc just doesn't get good ratings anyway.

love the program.
listen to fox all day in the car; listen to CD at night to get the rest of the story that fox leaves out.
ratings will pick up at election time; right now I watch fox for the same reason i listen to howard stern; cant wait to hear the next outragious statement!

His NBC football show comes in third EVERY week in the rating for the big three networks.So,not only does he fail incredibly on MSNBC he fails there as well.The guy is ratings poison everywhere he goes.

Plus hes a gutless girl.A guy who ripped Don Imus AFTER Imus was fired but NEVER said a fucking thing to Imus' face.A guy that refused to go to Greece to announce the Olympics because he was scared of terrorism.Hes a ratings killer and a gutless,spineless coward.

and yes, EVERYBODY dropped off from last year.  I'm betting your friends at FOX dropped just as much.  Only difference is, Olbermann's lib mission to get O elected was a success, and FOX failed at their efforts.
