where do you get 440 or 455?

it looks like 3 45's and 1 35lbs. on each side which is 385.

well.... he didn't warm up...so its still pretty good. He was struggling a little though

3 20 kg plates + 2 15 kg plates each end, 20 kg barbell = 200 kg = 440 lbs.

It's Japan, so I assume they use kg plates.

440 or 455..makes little difference. Heavy weight, good clean reps. His back isn't even arched like a powerlifter's, so his butt coming slightly off the bench makes little difference. Looks like he's got more reps left in the tank too.

Well, actually I have seen a video of him attempting 550 reverse grip and he didn't even come close the spotter helped him.  So that makes it unlikely he ever did 580 reverse grip legit. 


As for me, well I can't do reps with 455 reverse grip I admit.  I bench standard grip like 99.9% of all benchers.  Also my butt stays on the bench :).
