Bench has always been my weakest major lift compared to others.
I'd really love to hit 405. I'm not getting any younger. I'll be 40 next year.
I've never trained specifically for power, but have been on a good, low rep, heavy weight routine lately.
If you're benching 405 for one, what should you be at with your other major lifts?
- Deadlifts
- Squats
- Barbell rows
I realize everyone is different, but just curious where some of you 405 benchers are at with your other major lifts.
I know keeping up with all the other major lifts (and not focusing just on bench) will be key to hitting the bench goal.
