Agreed, but the colts are going to have a tough time winning a sb with most of their secondary on ir.  Imo:

Saints - Colts

Saints - Pats

Saints - Steelers

Unless the Saints have to play in bad weather in the playoffs (Philadelphia), they are all but a lock for the SB.  As for the AFC, going to Indy would hurt the Steelers but help the Pats.  The Pats O is high powered enough to do serious damage in a dome.  Infact, they have some insane winning percentage in domes.  The steelers need to rely on their defense more and that dome will favor the colts, imo.

This may be all for not, because we'll see what's what after the Colts play the Pats and the Saints.

With the injury to Sanders, and the Colts run defense, I can see the Stillers winning in the RCA dome.  They did it in playoffs previously.  Defense, emerging running game, and Big Ben with better weapons.

Ravens cut kicker Steven Hauschka today. Good riddance. This kid is simply just not ready for primetime and he has an obvious lack of confidence right now. It was for the best. Several misses over the last few weeks, including one miss that cost the Ravens a win.

Its all on coach Harbaugh. He didn't want Stover or want two kickers on the roster like last season. Stover was money inside the 45 yard line and Hauschka boomed the 50+ yarders. You only get to suit up 53 players on gameday so he didn't want an extra roster spot going to a kicker. I get that.....but he should have held on to Stover. The last holdover from the Browns team that moved to Baltimore in 1995.

Stover, despite being 41 years old, can still kick effectively. In fact, many of the league's most accurate kickers have been over the age of 40. Stover may even hold onto the job with the Colts for the rest of the season. Is Vinatieri on injured reserve? I don't even know......

Karma is a bitch and I expect this Sunday against the Colts to involve Stover in some capacity to where it might impact the result of the game. Man, I hope I'm wrong.

No Big Ben or Troy suiting up to play the Ravens. The birds should dominate at home. At least, I hope they do. :-\

I feel the same way you do. I payed big money for those tickets and I want to see the best play.

The thing that sucks is that the Ravens will get no respect whether they win or lose. If they win, it was because Ben and Troy wern't playing. If they lose, then they suck even worse than their harshest critics may have predicted.

well if dennis dixon didn't get hurt in college, he might have won a heisman and a national title at oregon

at least you get to see him live in person :D

guess who the steelers signed to back him up, tyler palko

the guy that made flacco transfer to delaware

so you might get to see two college studs live in person :)

Dennis Dixon is a pretty good athlete for sure. He played pretty well up until he threw that INT at the end of the game. The Steelers defense was up in Flacco's grill the whole game. 5 sacks? The Ravens didn't even get one which is surprising considering that the Steelers don't have the best O-line. They need Suggs against the Packers or else Aaron Rodgers will have a field day.

I'm just finally glad we beat you guys......

Did you see Harbaugh go for it on fourth down?

I was at the game, bro. When Harbs sent out the punting team at first, the crowd went ape shit. When he heard the boos he quickly burned a time out and sent the offense back on the field. Then Rice took the short pass 44 yards and the Ravens were able to kick a field goal to tie the game.

If Ben would have played he probably wouldn't have thrown that interception in overtime. But at the same time, if Suggs was playing I highly doubt that Dixon would have been able to get outside on the edge and run in that touchdown.

Great game but the Ravens have their hands full against the Packers. If they win that game the last tough game they have are the Steelers on the road.

i almost broke my sisters tv...dude for real...4th and 5...and rice damn near goes the difference. We look like shit when troy isnt in there..

I was suprised by the great plays by dixon and i dont really blame him.

If ben would have played it would have been different...Outside of Reed (who is so underrated its not funny) foxworth and washington are awful at best...

it was an awesome, but the huge names didnt play, Suggs, Troy or Ben...

once again the "great" defense (just ask them, they'll tell you ::)) chokes in the final minutes

james farrior and casey hampton are old and tired, get rid of them and NEVER give a big extension to a defensive player that is older than 32

william gay plays like a gay every week, he makes me miss dewayne washington

every guy on defense is expendable when you can't maintain leads without polamalu, i wouldn't trade him for any defensive player in the league

dixon played well for a first start, but i knew he couldn't go a game plus OT without a turnover

he proved the O line isn't that bad by not getting sacked once

offensive coordinator bruce arians needs to be fired, dixon ran 4 times and made big plays each time, WHY NOT RUN HIM SOME MORE PLAY TO HIS FUCKING STRENGHTS

i've been sick of big ben's drama for years, apparently his teammates are too

i'm thinking 9 -7  at best, no playoffs

schedule looks pretty easy but there are no easy games when you lose to the chiefs ::)

Troy definitely makes all the difference in the world on that defense. Definitely a one of a kind player, for sure.

I don't get what you mean by "Big Ben's drama". What are you referring to?

yeah but concussions are a whole whole new ballgame when it comes to injuries. Concussions can end careers at an early stage if taken lightly. These days every precaution is taken, including sitting out games at the urging of a neurosurgeon. And rightly so. Do you how many millions are tied into these athletes?

True, but the Ravens were not on their own 20 yard line. If they were, Harbaugh would have elected to punt. There was still 3 minutes to play. I don't think you can compare both situations.

I can't help but think that, but for a few lapses, this team could be 6-1 or 7-0.
I think every team should have the right to have Ray Lewis run the middle of their defense for a day.

What an ugly loss for the Ravens. 11 pass interference penalties between both teams? RIDICULOUS.

Not a banner year for the AFC North. 6-6 going into December is not what I envisioned for the 2009 season. People need to remember that Flacco is still a second year player with still a lot ot learn. Those interceptions in the fourth quarter were horrible.

Need to run the table and try to get to 10 wins to have any shot at the postseason.

Lions, Bears, Steelers(not hopeful of winning that), and Raiders. Very possible to run the table but we need the Steelers to completely fall apart.

What a shitty season.......... :(

They have quite a few additions on defense this year. Tank Johnson, The rookie samoan kid out of USC and Rivers is back for a full season.

I still don't think they'll make a dent in the playoffs this year. But Marvin Lewis saved his job for another 2-3 years. His ass was on the chopping block.

I miss Tank in Dallas.   He was very verbal, which pressed the wrong buttons at times.   I had no problem with it though.  In the 3-4 DT's are limited.

I can say without a doubt that I am embarrassed to be a Ravens fan today. What a ridiculous loss.

An interception return for a touchdown wiped away because of a block in the back. A 14 yard touchdown run by Willis Mcgahee wiped away with a stupid holding penalty by a receiver who wasn't even involved with the play. And finally the coup to grace....Mason drops an easy touchdown catch because he was probably busy rehearsing his touchdown dance in his mind.

And over 100 yards in penalties to boot, including two incredibly stupid personal foul penalties. I'm having a hard time believing John Harbaugh has any control over this team. in fact...there's no way that he does. The Ravens don't deserve to be or belong in the playoffs.

Maybe Big Ben's blond, frosted, child molesting hair style was the Ravens' Achilles heel today. Or maybe it was the light brown mustache he is attempting to grow. Who knows for sure.....

DESPITE shooting themselves in the foot for 5 losses in row,at least if pitt finishes 9-7 it something to show for all that shit playing, big ben is having a huge offeensive season ,but his stats were never needed this big ,i would take 3 more wins over the 4000 yd passing season he is having.

PLAYOFFS. A return trip to New England.

Anything can happen in the dance. Baltimore proved that last season by playing as #6 seed and making it to the conference championship. All you need to do is punch your ticket.
